Stamping: By the forming method of applying external forces to sheet, strips, tubes, profiles and others through punch and die, make it produce plastic deformation or separation to obtain the required shape and size of the workpiece, that is stampings. 

Stamping and forging are both plastic processing (also known as pressure processing), collectively known as forging and stamping.
